A couple friends had recommended Farscape to me (since I loved Firefly so much) so I started watching it last week. The first couple episodes just seemed weird to me but after I got used to the puppet aliens I fell in love with this show. I've watched quite a bit of so far as I'm already nearly done season 2. I've been trying to watch Enterprise lately but it has got to the point that if I want to fall asleep I just watch an episode of Enterprise. Anyways, haven't been doing to much development at home which is all to blame on Farscape.

Google just started a new service called Google SMS so you can send messages like "d cow" and google will respond with the definition of cow to your phone all using SMS. It's not available in Canada yet but it sounds like it will be pretty nifty.

2nd, GmailFS for windows finally came out. It's pretty nice. I gave this a try at home and it worked very slick. Google will probably prevent stuff like this in the future but for now it's kind of cool to have tools like this.

I had heard of the .NET Terrarium quite some time ago but I never really checked it out. Yesterday I decided to give it a try. This stuff is pretty neat. The point of this "game" is to code your own creature to interact in the terrarium. You can make a herbivore, carnivore or plant. You define how the creatures move, interact with other creatures, comunicate, reproduce, attack, defend and so much more. My first impression was there wasn't too much to do to creating your own creature. Sure you can get a really simple creature put together really quick but it must take a long time to get a creature coded that can survive.
Right now on my client Terrarium all I have are Naka herbivores and Mari carnivores. Apparently these 2 critters have taken over the whole terrarium because that's all I see. I checked the stats out on the page and naka and mari are cleaning house.
